Inaugural Historic Germantown 5K

The Inaugural Historic Germantown 5K is the first of three races in the Miami Valley Road Race Series (links for the 2nd and 3rd events are below) and a welcome change of pace from the numerous road races that fill the area. The race offers a beautiful certified course that passes through the Germantown Covered Bridge and then makes its way through historic Germantown. All runners will receive the following,

– Official New Balance Tech Tee Race Shirt
– Gorgeous Finisher Medal (complete the Crossroads and Gem City Classic 5Ks to earn 4 medals that connect to form the state of Ohio!)
– USATF certified and fast race course that passes through the Germantown Covered Bridge
– Chip timing
– Excellent selection of post-race food
– Handmade in the USA wooden awards for Overall, Masters, and Age Group winners three deep.
– Portion of race entry supports the Historical Society of Germantown
– One step closer to earning the coveted fourth medal in the Miami Valley Road Race Series!

Half Mile Kid’s Run presented by Dayton Children’s Hospital participants will receive:

– Custom finisher medal
– Custom race bib
– And of course we will let you pig out on post-race food too!
