What made you decide to run for Council?
I ran for a council seat when I discovered and saw that the council members at the time were treating their family members and friends much differently than the other citizens in the Municipality. At that time I decided to make a stance for Germantown and stop the nepotisms.

What are your main gaols as a member of Council?
1) To make sure that the Municipality prepares budgets in an appropriate manner by spending the tax dollars of our citizens wisely.
2) Seeks business and commercial opportunities to locate in the Municipality.
3) Limits rate increases whenever possible.
4) Allows residential growth at an infrastructurely sound rate.
5) Sets appropriate goals that are obtainable.
6) Work with surrounding communities/entities.
7) Most of all, to represent the citizens of Germantown equally in all ways, always!

Statement to Citizens:
"My goal as Council member is to give ALL the citizens of Germantown equal government representation in an honest and trustworthy manner. I am at the disposal of the citizens of Germantown on any and all matters at any time. Please feel free to contact me for truthful information on the governing of the Municipality of Germantown."

Employer: I was a medical office manager for eighteen years. My husband, Lynn Koogle and I co-owned and operated Gunckel Heritage Bed and Breakfast in Germantown for seventeen years.

Family: Husband Lynn Koogle, and Sons, Mike and Gary, are deceased; Daughter, Kande Koogle; 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson.

I applied to fill the council seat vacated by my husband's passing. I am not Lynn and would never presume to serve in the way he did. Our skills differ, but our love and passion for this community are very much the same.

My family's history is tied to the founding of this beautiful place, which I have called "home" all my life. It will be my honor to help guide Germantown's future. However, it is a responsibility not to be entered into lightly. I am honored to have this opportunity to represent the citizens of this municipality. Please fe ll free to contact me with any concerns.
